Customer Service Specialist Job Summary:
The customer service specialist provides general assistance to our clients to establish and maintain client relationships. The customer service specialist will interact with clients, vendors, and visitors. Responsibilities would include responding to client’s administrative and technical questions via phone or email. Other duties would include office duties such as answering the phone, processing shipments, and ordering supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Provide specific information regarding the services and products offered by Phosphorex via phone and/or email
- Report and analyze customers’ information and needs
- Participate in conference calls with potential customers to identify customer needs
- Manages procurement of raw materials, consumables, equipment and office supplies
- Maintains inventory of lab supplies
- Manages shipping and receiving
- Schedules meeting and appointments
- Create and modify documents such as reports, memos, letters and other administrative files
- Provides general office support
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in science related discipline such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, physics, material science, pharmaceutical sciences etc. required
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Well versed with Microsoft Office applications
