DEGRADEX® PLGA MICROSPHERES AND PLGA NANOPARTICLES

We offer a full range of Degradex ® Poly (D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) PLGA microspheres and PLGA nanoparticles that are ideal for variety of applications. PLGA is a biodegradable and biocompatible polymer approved by the US FDA for use in biomedical applications. Encapsulation of drug molecules into PLGA microspheres and nanoparticles allows for various applications including controlled release, bioavailability enhancement, drug targeting, and API stabilization.Our plain PLGA microspheres and nanoparticles offer our customers the opportunity to test system compatibility before putting their API into the microspheres or nanoparticles. Plain PLGA particles can also serve as carriers in which case drug molecules can be attached to the particles and delivered. Our plain PLGA microspheres and nanoparticles are offered with surfaces functionalized with carboxyl groups. These surface modified microspheres allow for the covalent attachment of proteins, peptides, antibodies, and antigens.

Our Degradex ® PLGA beads are made with poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) with an L/G ratio of 50/50 and a MW of 30,000.

We offer custom synthesis of polymeric microspheres and nanospheres to support your application needs. Customers may select the material type, particle size, size distribution, color dye,fluorescent dye, and/or surface functional groups such as carboxyl or amine groups. Contact us for details.
